Cable Factory "Negotino" from Negotino is a unique factory of such type in Macedonia. Using the preliminary knowledge in metal drawing and the cognition for cable deficiency in the market, was made a decision to be supplied an extrusion line and on 9th May 1968 year was manufactured the first cable. Up to 1972 year the Factory was equipped with an equipment, accessories and devices using own means. In 1973/74 year was purchased a new plant from the American company "Joan Royal" and the Italian company "De Angeli". With this plant the factory was equipped for installation conductors and power cables up to 16 mm2. It was build a new production workshop of 2400m2 and employed new 141 workers. The new production capacity was 5125 T cables what the factory became a serious producer on Yugoslav level with. Because of the completing of the assortment in 1976 year was supplied a new equipment, what the capacity grooved up for 3500 T new employers with.
With this action the assortment was expanded with power cables up to 600mm2 round and section, and the total number of the employers reached to 457. Lasting many years experience and the renown on the domestic and market abroad urged the factory to begin a great action: rubber cables and middle voltage cables with cross-linked polyethylene production and in the same time with factory dislocation in the new industrial area in village Dubrovo. This action realization had begun in 1979 year and the same was taking place in three phases: In the first phase was installed and commissioned the new equipment and a part of the existing once which represents together a totality for production of cable from 1-35 kV.
In 1984 year was built the second workshop and was moved the installation conductors equipment, and in 1985 year so the sections for PVC granulate production and the woods wrapping material section, what all sections was placed in the new location with.
For servicing of the new plant are received 232 new employers, and the production as a capacity has reached 12500 tones cables per year .
In 1989 year was finished the realization of The program for the micro cables and cables for acoustics, signalization and special purpose in electrotechnique. With this investments the factory was completed on capacity of around 14000 tones conductors and cables, commandösignal cables, micro cables and all types of copper, aluminum and Alösteel cords, and the total number of the employers was 871.
The accelerated development of the home appliances and the small home devices, needed connecting cords and electroöcable sets manufacture .The program for power receptacles and sets was realized in 1990 year and from the same year has begun to work this section for "Receptacles " with capacity of 4000000 sets per year. In 1996 year was realized also a larger part of the program for telephone cables manufacture, what the factory was equipped for production of a great part of the telephone cables and conductors with, as for the domestic as for the market abroad, with a possibility for 1300 T yearly telephone cables production.
